Dixon recruits Sydney to assist him in uncovering Sloane's betrayal of the CIA, suspecting he’s manipulating APO to acquire the Blackwell Index, an extensive blackmail roster, and to re-establish the Alliance. Sydney infiltrates Sloane's home to extract the encryption key from his secure phone, intending to decipher his communications. However, when Nadia discovers her, she feels let down by her sister. Simultaneously, Vaughn uncovers unsettling information about his father during a visit to his uncle, who remains in a coma.
