After Aultcray hesitantly gives Naofumi a meager reward, Naofumi visits the slave merchant to modify the slave crest as Raphtalia requested. While there, he also purchases a monster egg, which hatches a few days later, introducing a new ally to his team. Meanwhile, Myne arrives in Lute Village, where Naofumi and his companions are currently residing.
