Mikaela makes a desperate bid for freedom, bringing Y?ichir? along with him. Yet, upon witnessing his friends in the clutches of the vampires, Y?ichir? loses control as a terrifying power surges within him, endangering both allies and enemies. Shinoa steps in to intervene, successfully halting his rampage, but Y?ichir? ultimately collapses into unconsciousness.
