Episode Overview

Patrick is eager to embark on his new role as a squire, but his enthusiasm is short-lived when he is tasked with selecting an individual for execution in King Merriman's publicity stunt. Caught between his desire to satisfy the King and his personal beliefs against the death penalty, Patrick faces a moral dilemma. Meanwhile, Coral and Ruben vie for the prestigious position of executee, despite not wanting to face execution. They view the nomination as a mark of honor, complicating Patrick's already challenging choice.
