Episode Overview

Bailey is anxious when Jake goes missing, fearing he may never return. When Jake reappears and offers an apology, Bailey struggles to forgive him. Things take a turn when a woman calls, claiming to be Jake's daughter and announcing her engagement. Concerned, Bailey starts to follow Jake. He learns from Lauren that her father frequently vanishes, which prompts him to kick Jake out to protect his family, causing a rift. Claudia is upset with Bailey for removing her grandfather. Later, Bailey pleads with Jake not to disappear for good. Meanwhile, Justin feels the strain in his relationship with Julia, whose pregnancy has changed her. On television, Kathleen publicly admits her love for Charlie, who fabricates a story about rekindling things with Kristen just to break up with her. When Kathleen uncovers the truth, she vows revenge by purchasing the restaurant she previously invested in.
