The Perils of Penelope Pitstop (1969)

Episode Overview

The Bully Brothers snatch her away from the depths of a wooded area. In one harrowing scenario, she is bound to a log and sent floating toward a waterfall. In another, she finds herself hanging over a pit filled with alligators. Later, she dangles precariously by a rope in a cave, facing a potentially deadly drop. On a train, Penelope is pursued and eventually cornered in a compartment. Bound to the wall, she watches in fear as water begins to fill the space. Just as drowning seems inevitable, she manages to slip off a boot and activates the lever to halt the water, escaping yet again from danger.
