The Perils of Penelope Pitstop (1969)

Episode Overview

The Hooded Claw captures Penelope, binding her to a massive boulder with a spring tree, but the Ant Hill Mob arrives just in time to thwart his plan. As they rescue her, Penelope finds herself precariously perched on a runaway stagecoach. Meanwhile, the villain sets a trap by placing a tipi on a cliff’s edge, enticing the Mob with a gramophone playing Penelope's desperate cries for help. His plan is to send both her in a barrel and the Mob into a deep canyon. Ultimately, Penelope is placed in a miner's cart loaded with explosives, destined to plunge into a treacherous mine shaft.
