The Perils of Penelope Pitstop (1969)

Episode Overview

Penelope's trip to a department store for a fashion event quickly spirals into chaos. She becomes trapped in a malfunctioning elevator and narrowly escapes being crushed. However, her greatest threat arises when she is bound to a slide, with a lawn mower precariously suspended above her, ready to drop if a tiny train cuts the string holding it. The Ant Hill Mob rushes to her aid, but in a twist of fate, she is flung out a window, snagged by a crane operated by the Hooded Claw, who aims to swing her into a pile driver at a nearby construction site. After several near misses, she swings into the Pitstop Department Store, grabs a beach ball, pops it, and uses the air jet to break free. Back inside, she finds herself waterskiing with her hands tied to a runaway speedboat's tow line.
