Episode Overview

Chase starts investigating the details of his father's death, prompting Angela to intervene. She manipulates Philip into giving Chase false hope about inheriting Falcon Crest. However, Chase sees through her deception. At a party hosted by the Giobertis, tragedy strikes when Cole's friend dies in a car crash after Cole declines to drive him home. Meanwhile, Angela pressures Lance to marry Melissa, but she has become romantically entwined with Cole. The situation complicates further when Melissa discovers she is pregnant but chooses to keep the news to herself.
