Episode Overview
Richard devises a plan to acquire a parcel of county land designated for a park, intending to construct a memorial for Douglas Channing and establish a vineyard on the remaining area. Chase strongly opposes this initiative, but Richard resorts to intimidation by planting a bomb in Nick's truck, coercing him to support the proposal during the board of supervisors meeting. Meanwhile, Melissa, determined to reclaim Cole from Katherine Demery, leaves her bed rest but collapses and is hospitalized, where she gives birth to a premature baby boy, naming him Joseph Angelo Cumson in honor of Lance's great-great-grandfather. Following his departure from Katherine's home, Cole returns to live with his parents.
