Episode Overview
Lance's treachery unfolds as he discloses Dr. Lantry's location to Chase, leading to a confrontation with Angela. Chase accuses her of orchestrating Lantry's release based on information from Lance. Despite her vehement denials, Angela struggles to mask her anger over Lance's disloyalty. Chase finds Lantry, who reveals that Angela blackmailed him into signing an affidavit about Chase's incompetence. In a shocking turn, Lantry takes his own life with a morphine overdose before Chase can intervene. Meanwhile, the discovery of Osborne's corpse on Richard's land complicates matters, threatening Richard's safety and further damaging his already tarnished reputation. Michael cautions Richard about the risks to his inheritance, while Philip's connection to the publisher is unveiled.
