Upon discovering that Dr. Lantry is profiting illegally by distributing pills, she decides to blackmail him into signing a statement regarding Chase's inability to manage Falcon Crest. Meanwhile, Lance aids his grandmother in her plot, while his wife, Melissa, finds herself seeking solace in Richard's company. Chaos ensues at Falcon Crest when baby Joseph is rushed to the hospital after ingesting the pills from Lance’s scheme, leading Melissa to accuse her husband of endangering their child.
