Lance erupts in anger upon discovering that Melissa has traded Joseph to Angela in exchange for her share of Falcon Crest. Angela cautions Lance that he needs to reconcile with Melissa, as she is now Pamela's successor, and failure to do so could leave him financially ruined. Meanwhile, Richard uncovers the listening devices planted by Pamela, leading him to suspect that the cartel is closing in. Angela begins a romantic liaison with Carter St. John, which stirs jealousy in Philip. As Maggie's tumor continues to grow dangerously, she faces a crucial decision between undergoing risky surgery or opting for radiation. With her vision deteriorating, Michael warns that delay could lead to permanent blindness, despite lingering doubts about his surgical skills. Fearing for her safety, Julia enlists Lucas to teach her how to handle a firearm.
