Angela decides to make Lance her only heir, excluding Melissa entirely from her will. Meanwhile, Gustav, pretending to be Julia's therapist, cleverly gains her trust for his own agenda. Ben and Chase inspect Falcon Crest for hidden cameras, and upon hearing their conversation about Henri DeNault, Gustav instructs Spheeris to look into Ben. Greg's flirtations with Melissa cause Cole to question her loyalty. Joel returns Terry’s stolen necklace and surprises her with a proposal, which she cautiously accepts for a two-week engagement. At the Turf Club, Angela attempts to exploit Charlotte's gambling addiction, while Chase keeps Maggie unaware of his plans with Ben to track down Johann Riebmann in Europe.
