Richard and Chase opt to join forces with Angela in pursuing the Helios deal. Seeking reassurance about his choice not to sell, Chase turns to Maggie, but she provides no support. Meanwhile, Melissa grudgingly agrees to pay Pamela $100,000 to ensure her silence regarding Joel McCarthy's involvement in framing Lance. Terry reveals her past ties to Joel to Greg and guides him on how to locate him, suspecting that Joel may have been responsible for the incident that nearly harmed Angela. When Emma and Lorraine unite against Angela in their search for Lance, they uncover that he’s hidden in Chinatown by Angela and Chao-Li. As part of her devious strategy to sabotage the Gioberti marriage, Angela offers Maggie the role of acting publisher for The Globe. Despite Chase's strong opposition, Maggie embraces the opportunity.
