Unbeknownst to her, Cassandra Wilder possesses the liens on their shares. Meanwhile, Cassandra's mother, Anna Rossini, seeks long-awaited revenge against Angela, especially since Cassandra now controls two-thirds of Falcon Crest. At the winery, Connie suggests making Chase a partner at Giannini Winery, but when Maggie walks in and sees them celebrating, she angrily declares she will leave that night. Angela supports Melissa in court, resulting in a reduced sentence of 60 days in jail in exchange for the Agretti harvest. As Lorraine's health declines due to severe brain damage, Lance faces the heartbreaking decision to disconnect her from life support. That evening, as Maggie and Richard find solace in each other, a sudden explosion rocks his home, trapping them inside.
