Sheriff Robbins informs Chase, Maggie, and Cole about the shocking murder of Sam Giannini, believed to be the result of a robbery gone wrong. Lance seizes the opportunity to manipulate the tragedy for his own gain at The Globe. Meanwhile, Maggie begins her new role as a copywriter at Richard's radio station. Stephanie, Richard's former wife, arrives in town, warning her daughter about Richard’s questionable past and his potential to manipulate her as well. Gustav extends his condolences to Mary Giannini but issues a chilling threat to kill her unless she sells her land. Chase, furious after uncovering a F.A.A. report that suggests a conspiracy against him, seeks the truth. In Italy, facing a crisis at her vineyards, Francesca Gioberti travels to Falcon Crest, unexpectedly visiting Angela for help.
