Melissa distances herself from her estranged Uncle Frank, prompting him to seek Angela's assistance in mending their fractured family bond. Meanwhile, after Maggie entrusts her Gioberti winery to Angela, she and Richard embark on their long-awaited honeymoon in the Caribbean, which turns out to be far from the paradise she envisioned. Emma, filled with resentment, holds Richard responsible for her friend's demise and plots her retribution. In the midst of this turmoil, Melissa intervenes when Dan’s ex-wife attempts to reconnect with him. Just as Richard contemplates revenge against Eric for his betrayal, Eric devises a plan to flee the valley with Vickie.
