Richard Channing and John Remick both step in to assist Maggie in settling her debts with Angela, but each resorts to underhanded tactics to secure Maggie's gratitude for themselves. Meanwhile, Angela dispatches Lance and Dan to look into Emma's new employment, but they arrive too late to uncover any secrets. Vickie reveals to Maggie that she is expecting a baby and admits to Eric's compulsive gambling issues. In a tragic turn, Dina suffers serious injuries from a car crash involving Lance. As Maggie and Richard check out his new property in Nevada, they remain unaware of being watched, leading to a tense return as Angela demands repayment.
