Episode Overview
After Angela threatens Nick with secrets from his past, he reluctantly relinquishes control of Falcon Crest to her. As Angela devises plans for renovation, Nick regrets his decision and asserts his intention to stand firm moving forward. He resolves to reveal the truth about his mother to Ben, igniting the young man's fury. Meanwhile, Richard's publication reveals that Melissa made a call after Lance left, clearing his name in her death. Richard cautions Pilar not to let her romance with Lance disrupt his ambitions for the valley. Nick and Ben are taken aback when Frank's old acquaintance Libby arrives, proposing that Frank accompany her to Columbia for emerald mining—a proposition that unsettles Angela. As Emma and Cabot grow closer, Cabot begins to question her identity.
