The group decides to participate in the science fair, but CJ struggles to find her project idea and begins to lose motivation. Luckily, Ronbie gives her an uplifting pep talk that helps reignite her enthusiasm. Meanwhile, Fenwick creates a robot, but it’s outperformed by Mindy’s superior machine. Crispo tries various antics to catch the attention of one of the judges but keeps falling short. Eventually, CJ realizes she can showcase her list of 100 things to do before high school, focusing on how they relate to preparing for high school. Fenwick builds an even better robot, but it malfunctions and destroys everyone’s projects—except for Crispo’s, which turns out to be himself, showcasing his unique abilities.
