As the group gets ready for their journey to the pro-choice rally in Washington, D.C., Norman becomes infatuated with Charles, who isn't quite ready to reciprocate those feelings. While the others are engaged in the rally, Julie discovers a place called "Reagan-Ville," populated by homeless individuals. She strikes up a bond with one of the women living there and chooses to spend the night. This experience profoundly impacts Julie, leaving her loftmates impressed by her willingness to connect with the situation.
