Episode Overview

With just days left until the Halloween performances for the Chicago parks program, everything appears to be going well—except for Keri, who still hasn't completed her skit, "Bloody Mary." Cara and Kyle are giving her a hard time about it, and Keri feels sidelined as Cara continually emphasizes Kyle's role as the playwright for the other skits, despite both having contributed. Meanwhile, there's an undeniable chemistry between Cara and Kyle that leaves Keri feeling more isolated. As the deadline approaches and Keri's skit falls short of Cara's expectations, Cara suggests they cut it. Keri, usually unfazed, agrees, knowing they need three performances anyway. When Cara brings this up with Laura, their boss, she cites Tonya's impending surgery as a significant reason for the decision.
