Episode Overview

While everyone else is enjoying time together, Tonya prefers staying home chatting with Justin on the phone. The rest of the group is growing increasingly annoyed with her lack of participation, believing she might be creating unnecessary drama to avoid tough situations. Kyle notes, "My relationship with Tonya feels like a labor of love, and right now, it's mostly about the labor." In the meantime, the cast discovers they’ll be working as lifeguards for Illinois State Parks and Recreation. Initially thrilled at the idea of beach life, they soon realize they must pass a certification test. Theo is eager to be a lifeguard but struggles with his swimming skills. Cara's dad is thrilled about her following in his lifesaving footsteps, but she feels overwhelmed and ultimately decides not to pursue certification.
