The Real World (1992)
S14E03 A House Divided
Episode Overview
As the roommates enjoy a hot tub party, Robin questions Jacquese about whether he hails from the ghetto, prompting him to ask what such a person even looks like. He believes that Robin's views stem from stereotypes portrayed in media rather than real-life experiences. Later, he discusses the situation with his cousin Calvin, emphasizing the importance of respect to him. When Jaime and Jacquese chat, they note that they, along with Frankie, aren’t part of any established clique while the others have formed one. Jaime wishes for everyone to unite as one big group, but it’s proving challenging. Jacquese feels left out when no one informs him about their plans to go out, leading to his frustration. Cameran perceives him as overly sensitive, believing no one intended to exclude him. Randy observes that Jacquese tends to be more introverted, which may contribute to his feelings of isolation.
