Episode Overview
Title: Planes, Trains and Paddywagons Plot: Cory and Pedro are the first to board the train to San Francisco, where Pedro reveals to Cory that he is HIV-positive, expressing his fears about how the others might take the news. Meanwhile, Puck finds himself in trouble, getting arrested due to a bench warrant. Rachel meets Judd, and they catch a shuttle to the loft, followed by Pam and Mohammed. As the group introduces themselves and discusses their careers, they notice someone is absent. Puck eventually joins them after being released from jail. When it comes time for room selection, tensions rise over the single room, but Pam ultimately secures it. The group gathers for dinner, and while flipping through his scrapbook, they discover that Pedro's condition is more serious—he has AIDS. Rachel shares her worries about how this will impact their living situation.
