Episode Overview
Nathan, Rebecca, and Irene head to R.E.I., an outdoor gear shop, to talk about radio advertising. To their surprise, they learn R.E.I. is sending them to Nepal for an authentic experience. Back at home, the excitement is palpable. Lindsay is thrilled because her brother is visiting, sharing, “He’s all I have, along with my mom.” As she and Janet express their concerns about the high-altitude journey, Lindsay’s brother plays a few songs on his guitar. She opens up about her father's passing due to colon cancer, prompting Nathan to ask her brother to perform a song he wrote for their dad, as he also lost his father. At R.E.I., the group gathers supplies and gets their vaccinations. After a grueling flight, they finally arrive in Nepal, where the streets are alive with vibrant colors, snake charmers, and monkeys.
