Matt and Colin head out for a boys' night, but Amaya tags along. She receives troubling news from home when she discovers her father might have cancer, leading her to feel overwhelmed with guilt and break down in tears. Meanwhile, Matt celebrates landing a job at KCCN, excited to share his voice with the world through radio. At a Mardi Gras charity event, Amaya confronts Colin about his distant behavior, but he dismisses her feelings as exaggerated. On the ride back, their roommates discuss the tension between the couple. Later, Colin tells Amaya she’s becoming too reliant on him and needs to back off. Struggling with her father's health and Colin's request, Amaya experiences a panic attack, checking her pulse in distress.
