During the cast's first barbecue, Ruthie surprises everyone with an unplanned freestyle rap, quickly becoming a crowd favorite. Meanwhile, Amaya channels her pent-up energy in a kickboxing class and later practices her moves on Colin at home. It's Calvin's girlfriend's birthday, and the roommates gather to celebrate. Ruthie's unique gift idea involves a lap dance, which adds a humorous touch to the festivities. At Local Motion, Ruthie apologizes to Calvin for her previous night's performance. He accepts her apology but admits he was taken aback. Colin's playful banter with Amaya continues in the hot tub, where he jokingly ranks women fourth in importance after friends, Pez, and toilet paper. In a confessional, Colin reveals his feelings for Amaya, noting that she seems to have stronger feelings for him.
