Bernice takes the initiative to bring the family closer together. For their inaugural activity, she organizes a gathering with the neighbors for the block association's monthly meeting. When a home security specialist arrives, his persuasive sales pitch convinces Duckman to invest in the extravagant "Interlopen Fuhrer 2000" security system. However, the system proves ineffective, prompting Duckman to attempt to repair it himself.
