Episode Overview
After the Colonel insists that René cut ties with the Resistance, the Communist group steals Herr Flick's sausage, which holds the forgery of the Fallen Madonna. Fearing the truth about the swapped paintings will come to light, the Colonel and Captain order René to arrange a ransom, which Edith manages to secure from Monsieur Alphonse. René and his team, disguised as German soldiers, are tasked with delivering the ransom. However, the scene is under the watchful eyes of German soldiers masquerading as French policemen, the Gestapo in disguise as Resistance girls, and the Colonel and Captain hilariously dressed as trees. Meanwhile, Lieutenant Gruber accidentally stumbles upon the exchange, and his dog can't resist chasing after the sausage.
