Episode Overview
Carmine gathers his friends at the Pizzabowl and asks for their help in organizing a Christmas performance for a local hospital. Unbeknownst to them, it’s a mental hospital. Upon arrival, they’re welcomed by a patient posing as a doctor, followed by the actual doctor who clarifies the facility’s true nature. This revelation makes Shirley uneasy, as her parents used to threaten her with being sent away to a place like this, alongside her eccentric aunt. The show kicks off with Edna performing a song on a small guitar, followed by Carmine’s rendition of "Jingle Bell Rock" complete with tap dancing. Lenny and Squiggy then sing "The Jolliest Fat Man," leading into Laverne and Shirley's baton twirling and singing. The performance concludes on a heartfelt note, reminding everyone to think of those who are alone during the holidays.
