S04E14 Oh, Come All Ye Bums
Episode Overview
While Laverne and Shirley are busy adorning their Christmas tree, a vagrant named Rags arrives at their door, announcing that he’ll be bringing 36 fellow homeless friends to Frank's annual Hobo Christmas Dinner at the Pizzabowl. Meanwhile, Lenny and Squiggy are dressed as an elf and a fairy, working as Santa's helpers in a department store, where they’re being harassed by a pesky little boy. Frank DeFazio, taking on the role of Santa Claus to gather funds for the Hobo dinner, enters, as the Pizzabowl struggles financially. Laverne and Shirley burst in after battling through a crowd for holiday deals, laughing at Lenny and Squiggy and rescuing the boy from Squiggy's grip. The chaos attracts the store manager, who promptly fires Frank from his Santa gig. Laverne soon recognizes her father’s boisterous voice in the commotion.
