Laverne and Shirley decide to intervene when they notice that Squiggy's stunning new girlfriend seems to be taking advantage of him for her own benefit, specifically to assist with her move and decorating her apartment. When they finally share their concerns with Squiggy, he admits he’s aware of her intentions but feels lucky to be with someone so attractive. However, with the encouragement of his friends, he ultimately makes the right choice and tells the gold digger to leave him alone.
