Episode Overview

Feeling let down after missing out on their usual $5.00 raise, Laverne and Shirley decide to vent their frustrations in a harsh letter to their boss. However, by day's end, they discover that they actually did receive the raise, but the scathing letter remains unopened on the boss's desk, set to be read the next day. In a panic to salvage their jobs, Laverne and Shirley return home, brainstorming ways to retrieve the letter before morning arrives.
