Episode Overview
The episode kicks off in Laverne's apartment, where she's sorting through her belongings to sell, eager for cash after losing her job. Suddenly, Frank arrives with an old army friend whom he saved during the war. This friend offers Laverne a position at Ajax Aerospace, and she's thrilled, instructed to start Monday morning. On her first day, Laverne finds herself testing gravity boots, but soon realizes it's far less exciting than her previous job bottling beer. During lunch, she and an eccentric guy named Chuck remain in the lab. To spice things up, Chuck persuades Laverne to try on a top-secret anti-gravity suit. She emerges in the suit and helmet, and Chuck, using a remote, gets her soaring through the air. Chaos ensues when Chuck struggles to bring her back down. Laverne suggests using gravity boots to land safely, but she faces another challenge.
