Episode Overview

Tess discovers that General Slade was found unconscious on a street corner, indicating that someone has managed to use the Phantom Zone’s escape portal to return him. Determined to prevent further breaches, Clark decides to venture back into the Phantom Zone, but is infuriated when Oliver tricks him into accompanying him. Stripped of his powers, both are quickly apprehended by the Zoners and brought before their new leader, Zod, who seeks vengeance on Clark for his prior imprisonment. Meanwhile, Lois grapples with the revelation that Clark confided a secret to Tess but not to her.
