Clark is taken aback when Kara arrives back on Earth with news that Jor El has dispatched her to combat an impending dark threat, doubting Clark's ability to face it alone. Simultaneously, Lois confronts Gordon Godfrey, a controversial radio host known for his anti-hero rhetoric, after he issues a menacing warning to the Green Arrow. However, things take a turn when Godfrey becomes possessed by the dark entity, leading him to abduct Lois. Now, Clark and Kara must join forces to save her from this dangerous predicament.
