Clark uncovers a sinister plot where a mysterious figure is targeting individuals impacted by kryptonite. As the hunter sets sights on Lex as the next victim, Clark rushes to intervene. However, just as he thinks he has the situation under control, the assailant reveals knowledge of Clark's vulnerabilities and shoots him with a kryptonite-infused bullet, leaving Clark in a perilous state.
