Episode Overview

Lex tracks down Morgan Edge and forces him to confess his corrupt connections with Lionel. Just as Lex plans to report the findings, an attempt on his life occurs at the mansion, leaving him with a narrow escape. In desperation, he seeks Clark's assistance. However, upon Clark’s return to the mansion to look for evidence, everything appears normal, leading him to doubt Lex's story. The situation intensifies when Lionel claims that Lex is experiencing a mental breakdown and requires confinement in a psychiatric facility.
