While exploring a crater in a cornfield, Clark and Lana stumble upon an abandoned baby and decide to bring him to the Kent farm. They name him Evan, but soon realize he ages from infancy to seven years old in less than a day, indicating he’s growing at an alarming pace. Concerned, they seek Lex’s assistance. In a parallel storyline, Genevieve suspects that Lex possesses the Chinese Kryptonian artifact and instructs Lionel to retrieve it, warning him that failing to do so could put Lex’s life at risk.
