Smallville (2001)

Episode Overview

After being brought to the Fortress of Solitude, Clark faces Jor-El, who informs him that he cannot go back to Smallville and must instead prepare to become Earth's protector. Chloe, also transported to the Fortress, struggles with the frigid temperatures and collapses, pleading with Clark to save her using his abilities. Although Jor-El initially prohibits him from leaving, he eventually relents, warning Clark to return before sunset or face severe repercussions. Meanwhile, Lana is terrified when she witnesses two Kryptonian beings emerge from a spacecraft found in the remnants of the meteor shower, as they wreak havoc in search of Kal-El.
