Tess brings Clark along to a New York press event, but their private plane is suddenly shaken by an explosion. Clark faces a race against time to protect them both while keeping his abilities hidden from Tess. However, he is unaware that Tess planned the explosion to force him into revealing his true powers. At the same time, Davis stumbles upon an unexpected method to tame the beast lurking inside him.
