Following a collision with a truck, John Corben awakens in a deserted apartment, transformed into a hybrid of man and machine with a Kryptonite core. Discovering his newfound superhuman abilities, he seeks vengeance against the Red-Blue Blur, whom he views as a reckless hero. Despite Clark’s warnings, Lois becomes entangled in the investigation, ultimately leading to her abduction at the hands of Corben.
