On the day of Vlad's 13th birthday, his celebration is unexpectedly disrupted by the arrival of his grandparents. Concerned that the Count is straying from the true essence of vampire heritage, they conclude that the best course of action is to accelerate Vlad's transition into his complete vampire abilities.
