Episode Overview
At 26, Rachel was once a stunning child from a comfortable Maryland upbringing, but now her health is deteriorating and she hasn’t been home in years. Struggling with a heroin addiction, she survives on the streets, turning to prostitution for money. Her loved ones see how far she has fallen and fear for her life, believing an intervention is their only chance to save her. Tommy, a 38-year-old executive from Texas, spiraled into heavy cocaine use over the past year and a half. He lost his job, sold his luxury car, retirement savings, and million-dollar condo to feed his addiction. Now homeless, he rides a bike and crashes on friends' rooftops or park benches, avoiding family and friends out of shame. Desperate for his recovery, they see an intervention as their last resort.
