Episode Overview

Brothers Daniel and Robert were on the brink of achieving their dreams. Daniel had his sights set on playing for the NY Yankees, while Robert aimed to become a civil engineer. However, a career-ending injury derailed Daniel's future, leading him to rely on pain pills and ultimately heroin for relief. Struggling with feelings of inadequacy while living in his brother's shadow, Robert fell into the same destructive cycle. Now, both brothers find themselves using up to 21 bags of heroin daily. Their family stands on the edge of losing them both. Jeff Van Vondernen steps in as the interventionist.
