Title: Marci Plot: Outwardly, Marci seemed to have an ideal existence. However, her reality was much darker; her mother would leave for work, leaving Marci to face her cruel, intoxicated father alone. While Marci suffered in silence, her mother remained oblivious, choosing to look the other way. As a coping mechanism, Marci fell into substance abuse, leading to the breakdown of her marriage and the loss of her children. Despite the chaos, her mother refuses to acknowledge any issues.
