Episode Overview

Title: Ryan/Jason Plot: After the arrival of twins from Jason's mother and stepfather, he felt sidelined and alone. This led him to drop out of school and seek solace in drugs. Now residing with his grandmother in a retirement home, he struggles with severe addiction, consuming up to 30 mg of Xanax and injecting heroin five times daily. Following an overdose that resulted in several hospital visits and grand mal seizures, his family is at their wit's end, unable to help him break free from his substance abuse. Meanwhile, Ryan, a chef for 15 years, aspires to lead a kitchen in a prestigious restaurant, but his battle with alcoholism hinders his dreams. He has always felt overshadowed by his successful brother, a police officer. To prevent withdrawal, his mother provides him with alcohol, but the family is increasingly anxious, fearing it's just a matter of time before they lose him.
