Episode Overview

Bolander faces a setback in his recovery. Meanwhile, the detectives take to the local media to discuss the recent shooting. They gain access to Apartment 201, discovering its resident, Gordon Pratt, an avid gun enthusiast who previously aspired to be an officer. In an unexpected turn, Russert and Howard agree to put aside their differences. Although they track down the suspected shooter, he is set free due to the absence of a weapon. Tragically, he is later found dead with a bullet wound to the head.
